Spiritual Goals

We have already begun a spiritual work in a town some distance away, enabling young people to find activities which keep them off the street and to provide a spiritual background in which people can be helped in many ways.

In a visit to Ghana last year Colin and Rena Scholes from Cliviger, Lancashire, took out two sets of football shirts which were an instant success with local lads who meet regularly to play football and for other activities. Colin is seen, right, at the start of the first soccer match.

The couple also provided a table tennis table (made locally) to help the youth group.

Services are held in another town and once the school building is finished on our own site meetings will begin there when it is not being used as a school.

Churches will not be established unless there is no such work in the district and our leaders will meet with other Christian leaders to ensure that sufficient provision is made for spiritual education in the area without rivalry.

Sound Bible teaching will be the basis of our work with Bright’s own years of learning helping him to establish patterns which will ensure that pastors and leaders are also cared for and given training and guidance.
