Mixed Farms

Already we have established a goat-breeding centre on the land and once the school has begun operating we intend to offer training to enable local people to grow their own crops and learn some of the basics of farming.

Food crops will be established to be used to feed our staff and children at the school (to ensure they get at least one good meal a day) but also to demonstrate the ease with which all can grow some of the basic necessities.

Then we intend to provide help in animal husbandry to enable villagers to look after livestock or whatever is indigenous to the area.

The goats we are currently breeding will be used to provide milk, cheese and meat as we endeavour to use local unemployed people and youths to operate on the land.
