The three-classroom school block has now been built and a kindergarten class began in September this year (2011) to provide education for children who will not otherwise be able to go to school. Some are unable because their parents simply cannot afford the fees (and we will help these youngsters) and others because there are not enough school places available. Schooling is expensive because parents have to meet not only the cost of education but books, writing materials and the uniform.
To transport youngsters from isolated areas a mini bus has been purchased.
There is a nearby secondary school with whom we have good contacts and which has the facility to take our youngsters when they are old enough.
We are in the process of constructing a kitchen and dining room block and following that a mission house will be built on the site.
