In October 1999, he went to Capernwray Bible School in Carnforth, Lancashire.  It was during and as part of his studies there that he was attached to the Mount Zion Independent Methodist Church in Cliviger, near Burnley. There he stayed in the home of Mr Colin Scholes, a retired head teacher, and his wife Rena. After sharing the vision of the school in Ghana with Mr & Mrs Scholes and their Church, they decided to assist him to fulfill it.
